Hello, my name is David Sharples, owner and operator of Sharples Home Inspections LLC. I have over 30 years of combined experience in construction, general contracting, and real estate appraising. When you entrust me with your home inspection you are getting a dedicated, experienced professional that is working only for you. This means no other party contracts me in connection with your inspection and I do not have a financial interest in the property. My interest is in protecting you and your family, as well as providing greater insight into the investment you are making.

 

New Jersey requires all home inspectors in the state to be licensed and insured, but that does not mean they are all equally qualified and it certainly doesn't mean they are equally dedicated. The home buying or selling process can be daunting and confusing, which is why it is important to have an experienced professional on your side. I bring over 30 years of real world experience in seeing, understanding, and repairing issues with homes that people just like you have purchased without the dedication and experience of a professional home inspector protecting them.

 

This is a service business that requires flexibility and dedication. I understand that busy schedules can make scheduling a home inspection challenging. In order to best serve you, I offer inspections 7 days a week and never upcharge for weekends, off times, or travel.
